Akari Solutions are pleased to announce that our services are now available through the G-Cloud 12 framework!

G-Cloud continues to be one of the most efficient and cost-effective routes for central government agencies, local authorities and other public-sector bodies to simply and quickly procure cloud based solutions.

Akari is a female led Partner based in Glasgow, and we’re excited to be on the G-Cloud 12 framework this year in only our second year of trading. Our core offerings make us unique to the market, including our two applications built around inclusion, and our mission to provide opportunity to any individual or business, regardless of hidden disabilities, mental health, gender or age.

We use Microsoft technologies to level the playing field for those with hidden, temporary, permanent and situational disabilities. We’re a group of individuals passionate about technology and how it shapes the world; a mixture of business minds, tech geeks and change evangelists, we spend our days working to ensure that every advancement in technology can be used to help change how people work, for the better.

We believe inclusion is essential in public sector and have had the privilege of working with some great companies in this space already. We are currently in our second year of a three year contract with Renfrewshire Council to develop and deliver their Microsoft strategy and roadmap, and have worked closely over the last year with several large public sector bodies including Glasgow City Council and Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, to help them deliver strong digital solutions across the Microsoft stack.  Our inclusion on this framework will allow us to bring our expertise around the Microsoft product stack, and our specialisations on teams and security to a wider public sector audience.

Our CTO, Tom Cox says “Our acceptance onto G-Cloud 12 demonstrates Akari’s commitment to providing the best of Microsoft Cloud to public sector organisations across healthcare and local regional government. The ability to provide flexible cloud service design, delivery and support has been key to operating in this space.

This announcement comes on the back of Akari winning the Global award for 2020 Microsoft Partner of the Year Diversity and Inclusion Changemaker and the Global Finalist awards for Security, Teams Apps & Teamwork deployment.

Commercial Director, Lindsay Climson says “Having already worked so closely with organisations such as Orkney Islands Council and Cumbria Health on Call over the last twelve months, we’re excited to be able to deliver accessibility and inclusion through our services to a wider range of organisations, to help them leverage Teams, automation through Power Platform and change management to assist new working practices brought around by Covid-19.”

Through this framework we are excited to be able to offer:

     – Akari Virtual Assistant (AVA) through Cloud Software Services

      – Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 through Cloud Hosting Services

     – and Cloud Support through Cloud Support Services
